The 2020 World Laser Manufacturing Conference will be held in Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (new hall) from October 12th to 13th. The theme of this conference is “Enabling Intelligent Manufacturing, ‘Bright’ to Brighten the Future” and consists of a general conference and parallel forums. At the plenary session, there will be more than 10 top global laser experts and representatives of leading companies from the United States, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, Singapore, Lithuania and China, presenting cutting-edge laser technologies and their latest applications, and discussing the global laser industry. The development trend indicates the development direction of the laser industry after the epidemic. The conference will adopt a mode of online and offline integration, and will be broadcast live worldwide simultaneously. The sub-forums will hold several parallel themed events, including ALAT2020 China Ultrafast Laser Micro-Nano Processing Conference and ALAT2020 China High Energy Laser Automation Processing Conference.

In recent years, China’s laser cutting machine technology has made breakthrough developments, and is advancing in the direction of high power, high precision and large format. Under the background of China’s intelligent manufacturing, the industrial field is showing a trend of transition from traditional processing to high-end manufacturing, and the market scale of China’s laser cutting field will also maintain a trend of rapid development. By 2023, the overall market size of China’s laser cutting equipment is expected to reach 40.37 billion yuan.

During the conference, Professor Connie Chang-Hasnain, Academician of the American Academy of Engineering, Professor Yury Kulchin, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor Carmen Menoni, President of the Optoelectronics Branch of the International Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), and the German Federation of Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing (VDMA) Materials Processing More than 10 laser industry experts including Dr. Moritz Förster, Managing Director of the Laser and Laser System Working Committee, Prof. Beat Neuenschwander, one of the founders of the Swiss Optoelectronics Federation, Prof. Guo Chunlei from the University of Rochester, USA, and Prof. Anand Asundi, former chairman of the Singapore Society of Optics and Photonics Scholars and leading figures will discuss cutting-edge issues such as ultrafast lasers, ultrashort pulse lasers, laser manufacturing equipment prototype development, and the development status of the laser industry in various countries around the world. They will bring unique insights from different perspectives on their respective research directions and open a high-level Brainstorming and knowledge collision in the laser field.

The 2020 World Laser Manufacturing Conference is hosted by Hannover Milano Star Ball Exhibition (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and Hannover Milano Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. At the same time, the 2020 South China International Industry Fair will be held, with more than 500 well-known companies participating.
